Sun-worn booths and a counter with swivel stools set a relaxed scene, while a handwritten specials board hints at daily surprises. The menu is unabashedly comfort-focused: breakfast favorites run all day, pancakes arrive stacked and syrup-drenched, and burgers are built thick with classic toppings. Coffee comes in big cups, brewed strong for early mornings or slow afternoon stroll-ins. Service moves with a practiced ease, balancing quick refills and casual conversation without fuss. Portions show no attempt at modesty, which suits a place billed as a roadside diner where appetite gets priority. A great little old school roadside diner. While staying in the area, my girlfriend kept coming across Angie’s while looking up places to eat in the area. As fans of hole-in-the-wall diners, we figured we’d try them out.
We went Saturday morning for breakfast and immediately felt the old school diner vibes upon walking in. Only a few tables were occupied so we were able to seat ourselves immediately. Coffee was brought promptly. My girlfriend ordered their Philly cheesesteak omelette and I got their country fried steak. We both got grilled home fries as well. Her omelette was fantastic! The melted cheese inside blends perfectly with the thin cuts of steak, onions and peppers. My country fried steak was completely covered in gravy on the plate I couldn’t even see it. I’m glad I ordered a side of their golden-brown sourdough toast to mop up that extra gravy. We both enjoyed their home fries as well and they give you plenty of them. The gentleman who waited on us was very polite and prompt. As we were leaving, Santa and Mrs. Claus had just arrived for breakfast with the kids which was cool to see.
We were honestly so impressed with both the food and the service that we decided we’d return Sunday morning for breakfast. And as we did, the same gentleman as the day before was there to greet us. Coffee was again brought quickly. I got the Philly cheesesteak omelette as I had really enjoyed trying it yesterday, while my girlfriend got one of their breakfast bowls. She really enjoyed the breakfast bowl, a blend of home fries, eggs, sausage gravy, cheese and then some. And I personally think that their Philly cheesesteak omelette may be my favorite omelette ever. Just an absolutely perfect blend of everything in every bite!
They have a cute little country store in the corner of the diner as well with candles, homemade jewelry and other assorted trinkets.
The food here is great old school diner food and the staff are super friendly. I highly recommend dining here whether you’re staying in the area or simply passing through. It’ll be worth that stop on the side of the road.

We stopped here for breakfast and were glad that we did. We ordered biscuits & gravy along with hash browns. The portions were generous and the taste was great. But the service. Wow! It seemed as though everyone who worked there checked on us. It was fantastic.
